Chinese brass box with jade medallion

You can find these boxes still being made today, but this is a a very old one. It has a wood lined interior. The hinge is intact as a piece of brass that slips between the wood and the brass on the lid. I have left it disconnected so that it does not get damaged. There are markings on the bottom for export. It is not in perfect condition showing its age with a patina that can be left or it could be cleaned up. It measures 8.5 x 6 x 3 cm.
